Lahore: In a shocking accident, at least five people were dead when an accelerated Dumper truck quickly crashed with Rickshaws and motorcycles after his brake failed in BaghbanPura on Wednesday.

The Dumper truck crashed with three Rickshaws and two motorcycles, also wounding four people. The accident took place near Aakhri Minute Stop in the capital of Punjab, according to rescue authorities.

Among the dead, two little girls Aima and Hafza, a Rickshaw driver and a motorcyclist have been identified, while a person remains unidentified.

The bodies have been transferred to the Shalimaar hospital. In addition, injured people have also been admitted to the same hospital.

Dumper’s private truck was hired by Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) and wore waste from Shadmaan en route to BaghbanPura to see.

The Dumper moved with high speed and, as a result, ended on another road where the Rickshaws and motorcycles moved in another direction.

In particular, Azeem from the Dumper driver escaped from the scene after the accident. In addition, the police and rescue teams are present at the scene and are busy cleaning the road.

Traffic accidents have been in an increase in several cities in Pakistan. Many of them involve trucks and loaders.

Earlier on Tuesday, in a worrying revelation, it was known that at least 110 people have lost their lives in Karachi in the last 132 days due to collisions involving heavy vehicles.
