An anti -terrorism court (ATC) in Quetta denied the police a new physical prison of the head of the Balochjjeti committee, Dr. Mahrang Baloch and other members of BYC on Friday, sending political prisoners to the judicial prison in their place.
The case was heard by ATC Muhammad Ali Mubeen judge in Quetta. Byc leaders were arrested on March 22, for accusations of “attacking” the Civil Hospital of Quetta and “incite people to violence.”
For the first time in six months, the leaders of Byc, including Dr. Mahrang Baloch, received judicial rejunction instead of being sent again to repeated cycles of police custody.

Women have spent the last half year in detention, with their physical prison extended repeatedly.
The last hearing of the case was on September 12, when the physical prison of Mahrang Baloch and other BYC organizers extended.
