An anti -terrorism court (ATC) in Quetta on Wednesday granted a physical return of 10 days of accused Sardar Sherbaz Sakazai in the case of double high profile murder of a woman and a man, Express News reported. The case comes from a horrible incident in the degari area, three days before Eidul Azha, in which a woman and a man were killed in public.
The defendant was filed before ATC No. 1 in Quetta, where the court approved the application of the prolonged prison police. The court ordered that its custody remains with the investigation of serious crimes of the police.
The spooky video of the attack circulated on social networks three days ago, which caused Prime Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti noticing, which leads to multiple arrests.

However, in a surprising development, the victim’s mother, Gul Jan, said her daughter, Bano, had been punished under the usual law of Baloch.
She said that Bano had escaped with a man named Ehsan for 25 days before being forgiven by her husband, and that the decision to kill her followed a Jirga trial and culturally sanctioned.
He added that Ehsan had threatened his children and shouted provocations in Tiktok’s videos. Gul Jan asked for the launch of Sardar Sherbaz and other detainees.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan’s Ulema Council condemned the mother’s statement as contrary to the constitution of the Koran, Sunnah and Pakistan, accusing her of complicity in the crime.
The major clergy, including Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashraph and Maulana Maqbool Ahmed, urged the State and the Judiciary to take measures against all perpetrators and facilitators, emphasizing that even if family members seek forgiveness for perpetrators, “Shary does not allow forgiveness in unfair murders.”
The religious body also emphasized that the parents involved in the murder must also be responsible, regardless of social or tribal customs, and urged the complete investigation and legal actions in accordance with the law.
