The verdict on the affected bail statement of Shahrez Khan, nephew of the prime minister expelled Imran Khan, has been reserved in the case of the disturbances of May 9.
An anti -terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore, chaired by Judge Manzar Ali Gill, reserved the decision on Wednesday after hearing arguments from both parties.

Shahrez was arrested on August 21 from his mother’s residence, Aleema Khan, and the PTI alleged that the household staff was assaulted and family members were harassed during the raid. His brother, Shershah Khan, was arrested the next day.
The defense lawyer Rana Mudassar argued that Shahrez had been falsely involved, claiming that no evidence placed him on the scene.
He said that Geofencing and Investigation Reports did not mention his name and presented affidavits that confirmed that Shahrez was in Chitral between May 6 and 12.
He also pointed out that they had already been granted more than 500 coacked in the case.

The Prosecutor’s Office opposed the petition, insisting that the photos of social networks link Shahrez with the protests, although none recovered from their personal accounts.
Shahrez’s parents, Aleem Khan and Sohail Amir, attended the audience. The court reserved its ruling after concluding the arguments, and the decision is expected later.
Previously, Shahrez had been sent to jail by judicial return in the case of attack of the Jinnah house after the ATC dismissed the police application of a new physical benefit. The court ordered the procedures to continue under the anti -terrorism trial.

Separate, ATC Lahore referred to his brother, Shershah Khan, to jail for 14 days, rejecting the request of the investigation officer of an extension of 30 days of his physical prison.
