After the sentence of Sean ‘Diddy’ combs’, Aubrey O’day broke his silence and reacted to his prison sentence.
Taking to its X (previously Twitter), the former member of the Diddy group, Danidad KaneHe called Diddy’s 4 -year jail for prostitution -related positions.
“Let this serve as a warning reminder for young people and candidates to pursue their dreams,” said O’Day, who did not testify against the dishonored rapper in his trial. “The real warning is not that a jury can doubt his testimony, nor that the judgment of a court may not reflect the years of suffering he suffered.”
O’Day continued to say: “The true warning is this: the moment when someone in a position of power exceeds its limits or demands more than what is legitimately required of you, moves away and does not look back. No dream, by brilliant, can overcome the pain and exploitation that can continue if it remains.”
“Too often, those who misuse their power, even when exposed, face much less consequences than their victims inflicted,” he said.
For the not versed, O’Day had previously accused the combs of preparing it in the Crysis Queen podcast
Using the victims of abuse, the former bandmate said: “Protect with the first sign of coercion or incorrectness. If something feels bad, trust that instinct and take off the situation. Her well -being is worth more than any opportunity.”
O’Day further praised Diddy’s ex -girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, for presenting and testifying against the rapper in his trial.
She said: “My heart is with Cassie right now. I hope you can internalize the recognition of the court of the extraordinary courage that took her to appear, knowing that her voice was heard. The judge recognized her behavior as a subjugation, and that is what it was.”
On October 3, Diddy was sentenced to four years in prison after he was sentenced by two transport positions to participate in prostitution.
It is pertinent to mention that it was not declared guilty of extortion and traffic traffic charges, crimes that could have sent it to prison for life.
