- DeclaredThe Anniversary Update has been released, adding new character presets, races, New Game Plus, and more.
- The PS5 port has also been released, offering three performance modes.

Obsidian Entertainment has released the anniversary update for Declaredthe game’s biggest patch yet, adding brand new features as well as the long-awaited PlayStation 5 edition.
Declared Released last year for Xbox and PC, and coinciding with the game’s first birthday, Sony console owners can now play the role-playing game (RPG) on PS5, which also offers three modes to choose from.
They include quality mode at 30 fps, balanced at 40 fps for 120 Hz displays, and performance mode, which offers 60 fps.
According to Digital Foundry, the PS5 port is solid and delivers what you’d expect with some minor performance complaints, with Quality mode, which targets 1440p and “effectively swaps frames for pixels.”
The Xbox Series
As long as you can play Declared On PS5 Pro, Digital Foundry writes that the improvements are basic and that what players receive is the same game as the Xbox Series
It appears that PSSR (PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution) is also not used, and FSR2 does the heavy lifting, offering neither additional ray tracing effects nor the features of the 30fps quality mode running at 60fps. Although it is mentioned that the console is more consistent when it reaches 60 fps than the PS5.
Elsewhere, Declared Xbox, PlayStation, and PC players can now dive into a New Game Plus mode after completing the main campaign, thanks to the Anniversary Update, as well as have fun with a new Photo Mode.
There’s also a new staff weapon type, new character presets, more divine trait presets, three new playable races, the ability to change your character’s appearance in Party Camp at any time, and more.
