- AWS presents Kiro, a way of coding agent
- Kiro seeks to help solve the typically seen problems in the “coding of both”
- Kiro is in preview now, with three levels that will be available
Amazon Web Services (AWS) has presented Kiro, an IDE that uses AI agents to optimize the development process.
Available now in the preview, Kiro seeks to reduce potential problems with “vibos coding”, the process in which agents who believe and create software with a minimal human interaction are asked.
In addition to helping with coding, Kiro can also automatically create project plans and technical plans, solving one of the most problematic problems for developers who still face the possible contributions.

By announcing the launch, AWS said that Kiro is looking to help the transition of “vibos coding to viable code.”
It works by decomposing the indications in structured components, which can then be used to guide the implementation and tests, as well as the monitoring of any change as the code evolves, ensuring that inconsistencies are not broken.
There is also Model Context Protocol support (MCP) to connect specialized tools, management rules to guide AI behavior and agent chat for AD-HOC coding tasks.
Finally, you can also automatically verify through the code to ensure that nothing is wrong, making sure that developers can send or start code without fear of any problem.
Kiro Mira: “To solve the fundamental challenges that hinder the construction of software products, from guaranteeing the design alignment between the equipment and the resolution of conflicting requirements, eliminating the technological debt, bringing rigor to code reviews and preserving institutional knowledge when senior engineers leave,” says Nikhil Swaminathan, the leader of Kiro products and the vice -liners of the Vice President of Amazon. of Amazon developers.
“Kiro is excellent in ‘Vibe Coding’, but goes far beyond that: Kiro’s strength is putting those prototypes in production systems with characteristics such as specifications and hooks.”
For now, Kiro is free of use during the period of view, but it seems that AWS is looking to introduce three price levels: a free version with 50 agent interactions per month; a professional level at $ 19 per user per month with 1,000 interactions; and a pro+ at $ 39 per user per month with 3,000 interactions.
“Kiro is really good in” environments “but goes far beyond that,” Andy Jassy wrote in an X publication.
“While other IA coding assistants could help you prototypes quickly, Kiro helps him take these prototypes to production following a mature and structured development process outside the box. This means that developers can spend less time in the Calderoso code and more time where it matters, innovate and build solutions that customers will worship.
