Azerbaiyan will invest $ 2B in Pakistan

Pakistan and Azerbaijan in an important development on Friday signed an association agreement of $ 2 billion of investments in Pakistan.

The agreement reflected the continuous investment flow in Pakistan under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

In the presence of the Prime Minister, the Deputy Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, and the Minister of Economy Azerbaijan, Mikayil Jabbarov, signed the investment agreement of a total of $ 2 billion for Azerbaiyan in the economic sector of Pakistan. The Pakistani delegation was also present this time.

The agreement was signed between the two countries after a cordial meeting between the prime minister and the president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, in Khankandi.

While the final and detailed agreement will be signed during the visit of the president of Azerbaijan to Pakistan.

The agreement has brought investment and trade relations between the two countries to a historical level. This agreement will prove to be a milestone for a greater promotion of fraternal relations between the two countries and for the strengthening of the commercial association.

Both countries also agreed more exchanges to promote cooperation in several sectors.
