The authorities have imposed a one -week curfew in 24 areas of Mamond Tehsil, a tribal district of Bajaur, as security forces launch an operation directed against terrorists.
According to an official notification issued with the approval of the Department of Origin of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the touch touch entered into force at 5 pm on Friday (August 16) and will remain in force until 5 pm on August 21.
The order prohibits residents from leaving their homes or moving along the roads during the period. The authorities warned that any violation of the restrictions would be strictly, and the people who mock the remaining touch would be responsible for any unpleasant incident.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s army launched emergency construction work on the Jarr bridge, which was dragged by recent floods, cutting the Baja road link with Dir District.
Army engineers, supported by heavy machinery and technical equipment, have been deployed to install a replacement bridge. The authorities said the work is being carried out throughout the day and is expected to be completed in a few days, after which the vital route will be reopened for traffic.
