Balochistan PA approves RS896.474b for fiscal year 2015-26

The Baluchistan Assembly approved RS896,474 billion for the 2025-26 financial year budget. There were a total of 94 demands, including 53 for unvotable expenses and 41 for progress expenses.

The speaker (R) Abdul Khaliq Achakzai presided over the session of the Baluchistan assembly here Wednesday.

The house rejected 9 out of 10 motions for cuts presented by the opposition, while a motion was removed.

The opposition leader, Young Aziz Zehri demanded that the Government that the employees arrested were released and that the provincial regime could negotiate them to address their problem permanently.

The session also approved the Baluchistan 2025 Finance bill, which was first presented by Zamrak Khan Achakzai and then by the Minister of Finance, Shuaib Noshirwani.

The annual statements of expenses approved for the years 2024-25 and 2025-26 were also presented at home.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Finance and Minerals of Baluchistan, Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, has expressed his deep gratitude for Prime Minister MIR Sarfraz Bugti, the provincial cabinet and all members of the Baluchistan assembly for the unanimous approval of the provincial budget for fiscal year 2025-26.

Speaking after the budget passage here on Wednesday, Minister Nosherwani described him as a significant milestone in the province’s trip to sustainable development and public welfare.
