The possibilities of a team from the New Jersey Liga League to go to Williamsport have received a blow after one of his sluggers was suspended by a state tournament game due to a batting change.
Marco Rocco, a 12 -year -old boy for Haddonfield Little League, launched a two -run homer last Wednesday against Harrison Township League and overturned his bat in the air.
The Homer made it an 8-0 game at the sixth entrance, which ended up being the final score. With the victory, Haddonfield assured the title of Section 4 and went to the state championship.

However, when he crossed the dish, Rocco was expelled due to a “security concern,” said Rocco’s father, Joe, NJ.com.
“They wrote us a letter saying that there is a rule that says there is no horse game in the small league, and consider that Bat flew the game of horses,” Joe Rocco said. “Little League International openly promotes the Battage in all its social media accounts, its websites and television broadcasts for the World League World Series. It is promoted and encouraged openly.
“My son looks that and was emulating what he sees.”
On Tuesday there was a temporary restriction order in the Gloucester County Foreign Ministry Division in the hope of letting Rocco play. But Little League International “is not willing to commit in any way,” according to the father.

“He has played Little League all his life, and his dream is to reach the World Series in Williamsport,” Joe Rocco added. “We are in the state finals and we are a couple of steps away. We are on our way there, and now, they tell him that he can’t play.”
Haddonfield and Harrison Township also played between July 13 and 15, dividing the first two competitions and causing Wednesday to be a winner.
Haddonfield begins the state tournament on Thursday against Elmora, which arrived at the World League World Series in 2019, in Deptford. The New Jersey tournament is a double elimination format of four teams.

The small leagues of Ridgewood and Jackson-Holbrook form the other teams to advance to the state final. They defeated Williamsport and the small Nottingham leagues to win their respective sections.
The winner of the group will go to Bristol, Connecticut, to have the opportunity to represent the Metro region in the World League Series.
