Beats is no stranger to mock the next hardware, think about headphones or speakers, in their social channels, and today, the Apple -owned brand did exactly that. This team is causing the Powerbeats adjustment, which seems to be the next generation of the Beats Fit Pro popular headphones, and simultaneously a brand change.
Shown in a new orange tone in the Athletes Saquon Barkley, Justin Jefferson and Jayden Daniels, these headphones are promised to “adjust each movement.” It is likely that it is a wink to the design of these, which use a wing tip to adjust comfortably and safely in the ear, unlike the Powerbeats Pro 2, which is wrapped around the ear.
Beats Fit Pro first launched in November 2021 and has been in the market, with several new colors, including an association with Kim Kardashian. These headphones still fill a good place within the alignment of the beats, but compared to the Powerbeats Pro 2, there are certainly some updates that I hope we see soon, when the successor falls as the Powerbeats fit.
The Teaser concludes with a promised launch for the autumn of 2025, which could occur in mid -September, October or November of this year. With that in mind, here there are three things that we hope that Powerbeats adjustment offers.
The arrival of the monitoring of the heart rate
Taking into account that the Powerbeats Pro 2 introduced the heart rate monitoring function, and it is rumored that Airpods Pro 3 also offers the capacity, I hope we see that they arrive in the factor in a smaller and lighter way of the Powerbeats adjustment.
Yes, the real follow -up is a bit limited, and if you are in the Apple ecosystem with an Apple Watch, that laptop will cancel the headphones. Even so, the headphones would offer follow -up capacity when both are in their ears for selected training applications, as well as on Android through the Companion Beats application. It would a bit the characteristic of the function, since we assume that the Powerbeats adjustment will have an active noise cancellation and a transparent mode such as the Beats Fit Pro.
To feed the arrival of the heart rate monitoring sensor, we would expect to see a jump in the silicon that feeds these headphones as well. Currently, the Beats Fit Pro presents the H1 chip made to Apple, but the adjustment of Powerbeats luckily would happen to a more modern territory with the tastes of the H2 chip, the same one that feeds the Powerbeats Pro 2.
A step forward in durability
The Beats Fit Pro currently offers IPX4 sweat and water resistance, which means that they can survive the splashes of light. And that is also the same degree of durability that Powerbeats Pro 2 offers, but considering that Beats mocks them with professional athletes and many headphones or headphones to the headphones like to use them during training, careers or general training, an update in this sense of at least IP55 or IPX7 would be excellent to see.
However, taking into account the Powerbeats Pro 2 rating, this could be less likely, especially because it seems that Beats is maintaining the existing design here.
A longer execution time
Beats Fit Pro currently offers six hours of reproduction with activated noise cancellation and seven hours with that off mode. He obtains some recharges in the case, what Beats says he offers 24 hours of battery.
I would like to see a step here, at least closer to the excellent execution time of Powerbeats Pro 2: These headphones offer 10 hours of playback and 45 hours when the recharge is taken into account in the case. It is a fantastic number, and although the Powerbeats adjustment seems to be a little smaller than these, the newest chip and perhaps some improvements in battery technology could help make this a reality.
Similar to the Powerbeats Pro transition to Powerbeats Pro 2, we will see if the Beat Design team could lose weight the size of the case here. The cross fingers are left with a USB-C port.
The good news is that, taking into account that Beats published the Teaser today, on August 28, 2025, it is likely that we have a few weeks. Given that Beats rarely makes appearances during Apple events, we are unlikely that we learn more about it in the September 9, 2025 event. However, Beats will probably share more in later weeks and officially introduce the Powerbeats adjustment.
Hopefully the price will be competitive, since the Beats Fit Pro currently has a MSRP of $ 199 / £ 199 / Au $ 299.
