- The EQI13 Pro Mini PC updated from Beelink comes with a selection of Intel H-series processors
- 126 mm square metal compact chassis is designed for durability and small desktop spaces
- The silent cooling system uses dual heat pipes, lower intake fan and SSD heat dissipator
Beelink is one of our favorite mini PC manufacturers, and the Chinese company has revealed its new EQI13 Pro, a compact system aimed at the use of the office and productivity.
The latest model updates the previous EQI12 with newer Intel hardware and a more resistant case while maintaining the same small and quiet profile.
Buyers can choose between two 13th GEN H-series processors. The Core I5-13500H brings 12 cores with impulse speeds of up to 4.7 GHz, while the Core I7-13620H offers 10 cores with a 4.9GHz impulse. Both settings obtain about 10,000 points in Cinebench R23, which makes them a decent option for multitasking and moderate creative workloads.
The graphics are handled by integrated GPUs. The i5 version presents Intel Iris XE, while the I7 model comes with Intel UHD graphics.
The EQI13 Pro admits up to 64 GB DDR4 through two slots and includes two PCIE 4.0 m.2 for SSD of up to 4TB each.
The cooling is handled by double heat pipes, a lower admission fan and a heat dissipator for the SSD, keeping the machine at approximately 32db during the operation.
The mini PC has 126 x 126 x 44.2 mm in size and has a complete metal housing. Unlike many PC of small factor, it houses an internal food source of 85 W, reducing the cable disorder.
In the front there is a USB3 USB3 port, a USB-C 10GBPS port, a 3.5 mm audio connector and the ignition button. In the rear, there are two HDMI 2.0 outings that support 4K at 60Hz, two 10 GBPS USB3 ports, a single USB2.0 port classified at 480 Mbps and Dual Gigabit Ethernet. The wireless support comes from Intel’s AX200 card for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
An inconvenience is that the USB2.0 port in the back looks equal to the fastest USB3 ports and is not labeled as such, which can cause confusion.
Available to buy worldwide now, the Core i5-13500H version with 32 GB of DDR4 3200MHZ RAM and a 500 GB SSD costs $ 399 (below the MSRP of $ 479).
Update to a 1 TB SSD increases the price of up to $ 429 (below $ 509). The Core I7-13620H version with the same RAM and 500GB SSD is $ 419 (below $ 499). Opting the 1TB SSD increases the price to $ 449 (below $ 529).
It is available with free shipping, 1 year warranty and in a free 30 -day test.
