The Cincinnati Bengals field marshal, Joe Burrow, suffered a foot injury that took him out of the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.
The offensive line of the Bengals was to have trouble driving the Jaguars Pasa race, forcing Burrow to throw through the pocket. In the second quarter, that pressure caused Burrow’s injury after being fired.
Burrow hit his helmet after the bag by Arik Armstead of the Jaguars and lay in a clear discomfort. After being on the grass for a few moments, he stood up, but could not put pressure on his foot.

When the defense of the Bengals picked up Trevor Lawrence, it was not Burrow who went out to the field, but Jake Browning, directing the offensive in his place. Instead, Burrow was seen needing help to enter the locker room.
Burrow finished with only 76 passing yards in 7 of 13 passes with a touchdown to Ja’mar Chase.

Fortunately for the Bengals, Browning was ready for the challenge, since it took Cincinnati to a return victory at the end of the fourth quarter.
After forcing a casualty turnover near his goal line, Browning led a 92-yard trip in 15 played, limiting him with a yarto touchdown race to take an advantage of 31-27 with 18 remaining 18 seconds.

Lawrence, who had a roller mountain game, could not make magic happen in the remaining seconds when the Bengals moved to 2-0 in the season. Jacksonville fell to 1-1 after winning in week 1.
What helped Browning in the absence of Burrow was the presence of Chase, which had 14 receptions for 165 yards and a touchdown. Browning still launched three interceptions, but also had two touchdown passes to Mitchell Tinsley and Tee Higgins.

While they obtained the victory, the Bengals will contain their breathing to see if the reigning player of the NFL year will be available next week.
