Rawalpindi:
The Punjab Road Patrol Police intercepted a vehicle near Bewar’s control point in Kahuta, avoiding an attempt to smuggle two deer cervatillos to suck Kashmir.
Three men were arrested, and the rescued animals were delivered to the Department of Silvestre.
The control team, including langial idrees and other personnel, stopped a car that was directed from Islamabad to Kashmir. After the inspection, two deer cervatillos were found in the vehicle.
Passengers could not produce valid legal documents for possession or transport, presenting only a few receipts.
After this, the control point in charge Raja Sagheer Abbasi called on the officials of the Silvestre department to the scene.
According to the officials, the men had collected the cervatillos of Gulberg’s housing society and were on their way to Kashmir without justification. The suspects, identified as Talal, Shahid and Abdul Qayyum, were taken in protective and fined custody.
The Cervatillos were transferred to the care of the Wildlife Department.
Wildlife officials praised the rapid action of the Patrol Police and granted certificates to the officers involved.
