Beyoncé was not a solidarity older sister as she grew up.
His mother Tina Knowles, 71, made a trip through her memory lane in a recent conversation with CNN News News While promoting his new memories Matriarch.
The author, who is the mother of the Pop Queen, 43, and Solange, 38, recalled in the interview how she was afraid at a point that her daughters were separating when Beyonce turned 10.
“He was terrified when Beyoncé turned around ten,” he confessed for the first time, before remembering, “I could have been ten or eleven years old, and was in the singing group.”
“And the children told Solange every day: ‘Be quiet, Solange’, because she would try to choreographer and, you know, wanted to participate. He also directed it. And they didn’t want me to get involved.”
“Then I began to notice that Beyonce would allow them to talk to her like that. Or she would say: ‘Ok, mom, can you get Solange out of here? Because it is,” Tina recalled.
However, Tina immediately corrected Beyoncé in that while telling her saying to her eldest daughter: “” Wait a minute, this is her house, and you have to be kind to her. “And I told her all things, you know, how important it was for her.”
“Finally, I realized that they were not listening, and I saw a wall between them, so I got them in therapy,” he told the publication while revealing his next movement: the therapy.
The then husband of Tina did not favor the decision, since in the early 90s the therapy was “really taboo.”
“‘I’m not asking. I’m going to find someone.’
“It’s fun because he told Beyoncé all the things he had told her, but she heard about him, even though he hated therapy. He hated going. Solange loved therapy. He loved talking and, you know, express himself.”
“The result was great,” Tina revealed.
