- Xbox is giving Xbox Achievements a big overhaul
- The update will add updated icons and animations for unlocked achievements.
- Players will also be able to hide games and 100% completed games will be highlighted on their profile.
Microsoft has announced a major visual overhaul of Xbox Achievements that will make it easier for players to highlight their games and achievements.
Available today for select Xbox Insiders to start testing, the new revised features will roll out to more Insiders over time and will be available to a broader player base later.
Among the improvements is a revamped achievement notification look that features updated icons and animations when players unlock classic or rare achievements.

“Notifications will also match your custom color, making each unlock more personal. Happy achievement hunting!” the company said in the Xbox Wire post.
Starting later this month, players will also be able to hide any games they want from their achievement history on their profile, “giving you more control over how your achievements are presented.”
“Whether you want a cleaner look or just want to highlight what matters most to you, this puts your profile in your hands,” Xbox said.
This option will only affect how a player’s profile appears, so hidden games still count towards their total Gamerscore and activity will still be reported across the platform.
Finally, when players have earned all the achievements for a single game, they will now see them highlighted in their list, giving them a “quick, at-a-glance way to celebrate full completion.”
Filter options will also be added, making it easier to find them among the list of games.
“This is a small but significant step in a broader set of improvements we’re making to Achievements,” Xbox said. “We continue to explore new ways to recognize moments of completion and milestones over time, and this update is one of our first steps in celebrating those moments.”
