Bilawal Bhutto condemns the suicide attack against the long march of Akhtar Mengal

Islamabad: The president of the Popular Party of Pakistan (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has firmly condemned the suicide attack in the long march directed by the head of the Baluchistan National Party (BNP-M), Sardar Akhtar Mengal.

Bilawal expressed a deep concern for the attack, which took place in Lak Pass in Mastung, pointing to the long march of Mengal. He has ordered the Prime Minister of Baluchistan, Sarfraz Bugti and the authorities to which the intellectual authors behind this suicide bombing before justice.

The suicide bomber detonated the explosives near the BNP-M protest site in Lak Pass, about 30 kilometers from Quetta. Fortunately, Akhtar Mengal and other leaders of the party escaped unharmed.

The sources confirm that the explosion occurred at a distance from the BNP-M sitting, and no victims were reported between leadership and party supporters.

The authorities have initiated an investigation into the attack, while political leaders continue to condemn violence, asking for greater security measures.
