Bilawal discards mid -period

Islamabad:

The president of PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, ruled out on Tuesday the possibility of becoming the prime minister for half of the current configuration, saying that his party has already rejected this proposal during government training conversations after the general elections of 2024.

In addition, Bilawal revealed that PPP had not become part of the federal cabinet despite the latest inductions because the level of trust between the two main partners of the coalition, the PPP and the ruler PML-N, was not so high even after the Parliament entered the second year.

Bilawal was talking to the media in his camera at the Parliament’s house after the National Assembly session, which was a condolence meeting in memory of the late member of the National Assembly of the PPP, Nawab Yousuf Talpur.

Bilawal said PPP did not support the concept of ‘medium-term prime minister’ when he sat down with the PML-N to discuss the contours of the post-general government elections. “We did not reach this agreement; we had rejected it,” he said.

“Neither the level of trust was to such an extent at the time of government formation nor after a year where the Popular Party of Pakistan could formally become part of the government,” he said. “Our confidence level has not yet reached the stage where the PPP can join the government.”

In response to a question, Bilawal said he hoped that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif honors the basic points agreed with the PPP as part of his political understanding. The prime minister instructed his team to “address our complaints at yesterday’s meeting,” he added.

Meanwhile, Bilawal said President Zardari delivered a historical speech in the joint parliamentary session on Monday. In his speech, President Zardari clearly pointed out the unilateral policies of the government, particularly the decision to make new Channels of the Indo, he added.

“The government is under tension due to the [canals] The problem, “Bilawal said”, and the decision must be reviewed and resolved. “Bilawal added that there was no reason for the government not to accept the suggestions given by President Zardari in his parliamentary discourse.

In relation to the next budget, Bilawal said that he hopes that “the PPP and PML-N, according to its agreement, would collectively write it together with the PSDP [Public Sector Development Programme] for the four provinces. “

Regarding Ifar’s dinner with Shehbaz, Bilawal said he was grateful to him for organizing the PPP delegation. He said that inflation was the most important issue, on which the parties challenged the elections, and now that the indicators were improving.

He also said that the PPP raised his concerns, including the situation of the law and order in Baluchistan and KP. Bilawal said he asked Prime Minister to call the KP government to solve this problem. It is also the responsibility of the Federation to take care of these problems, since they could not leave KP to the whims of the current provincial regime.

In response to several questions, Bilawal said it is the responsibility of the media to disseminate the truth only and that “opposition propaganda should not be repeated.” He said that PPP has been the first part to raise his voice against issues that invade the rights of the provinces.
