Islamabad:
A Pakistani parliamentary delegation, directed by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, met with Think Tanks and British policy formulators in Chatham House in London on Monday. Chatham House is the main group of experts in the United Kingdom, focused on issues of foreign policies and security.
Bilawal and other members of the delegation presented Pakistan’s perspective about the recent tensions in southern Asia, expressing a deep concern for military aggression not caused from India.
“Military actions not caused by India represent a serious threat to regional stability,” he said. He added that India’s actions are a clear violation of sovereignty, international law and the United Nations Charter of Pakistan.
The delegation emphasized that the Armed Forces of Pakistan, with the full support of the people, gave a strong response to Indian aggression. In addition, they declared that the Pakistani army successfully frustrated India’s attempts to establish a new call “normal” in the region.

Bilawal strongly condemned the suspension of India of the Indo Water Treaty, stating that the water of arms violates international standards and establishes a dangerous precedent.
He urged the international community to realize this alarming development and hold India for their actions.
He also stressed that the Jammu and Cashmiro dispute remains a central obstacle to peace and lasting stability in the region.
Bilawal asked the global community to support significant dialogue and guarantee compliance with international commitments and respect for human rights.
The delegation included Musadik Malik, Sherry Rehman, Hina Rabbani Khar, Khurram Dastgir, Faisal Sabzwari, Bushra Anjum Butt, Jalil Abbas Jilani and Tehmina Janjua. The High Commissioner of Pakistan to the United Kingdom, Dr. Mohammad Faisal, was also present during the round table conference.
