Ted Johnson, a former supporter of the New England patriots who won three Super Bowls with the team, said Tuesday that North Carolina “should consider” fire Bill Belichick for the debacle of the book tour.

Johnson fired his hot opinion of Weei radio. He arrived when Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, were examined for their interview in “CBS News Sunday Morning”. When Belichick was asked about how she met Hudson, she closed the question.

The awkward interview caused a lot of scrutiny.

“I say all that to say this: I think the Carolina Tar Heels should consider saying goodbye to Bill Belichick,” said Johnson, who played for Belichick, at the station. “They should consider letting it go at this point. It is a lot of money and they are deeply in their preparation for next year.

“But I look at Bill Belichick and I wonder if he is fit to train a NFL team, much less to train a university team, which, again, I put more responsibility with the character and personality of a university coach than in a professional coach. So I worry that Bill Belichick simply is not in form to train university children and UNC should consider cutting the links with Bill Belichick.”

The relationship of Belichick and Hudson has been pushed more and more in the center of attention even since he took the football work of the Tar Heels. Belichick had asked Hudson to be copied by his emails, according to Atletic.

He tried to hinder some of the criticism on Tuesday when he launched an email on April 10 of Belichick, who lamented the media coverage of his book.

Johnson’s colleague, Andy Hart, retreated his opinion that North Carolina should discipline Belichick somehow. Johnson described the Belichick association from the point of view of the company and football “bad decisions.” He pointed out that Hudson was in the spring practice and published the email on his Instagram.

“For me, those are bad decisions that make him and the university look really bad and question whether or not it is a solid mind and should direct a football team at the University of North Carolina. I think it’s something you really owe, really consider,” he said. “Only question the decision -making decision of chief at this time for those reasons.”

Johnson was with the Patriots from 1995 to 2004. He played in 125 games and had 11.5 captures.

Belichick and CBS published duel statements about the interview on Wednesday.
