Islamabad:
The Federal Government has appointed Bin Saqib as an advisor to the Minister of Finance in the Crypto Council of Pakistan.
The announcement was made on Wednesday by the Finance Division, saying that the measure reaffirms Pakistan’s commitment to technological advance, economic digitalization and financial security.
“Billal Bin Saqib will lend its extensive knowledge and experience to Pakistan’s efforts to integrate cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies in its financial ecosystem while guaranteeing the development of a robust regulatory framework for digital assets in alignment with best global practices,” reads the statement.
