Binance wallet suspends staff for accusations of entry

The Binance wallet team said Tuesday in an X post that has suspended a member of the personnel accused of using confidential information of their previous roles in BNB Chain to border a token launch.

The employee supposedly bought coins through multiple wallets before a tokens generation event (TGE), then sold part of the holdings to obtain rapid earnings.

“This behavior constitutes the first category career based on the non -public information obtained from its previous role and is a clear breach of the company’s policy,” says a statement from the wallet.

Binance’s research found no evidence that wallet team employees were involved in the privileged information trade. The company said the information they used was based on the data obtained while they were in the BNB chain, not on the wallet.

Binance said he will cooperate with the relevant authorities to follow appropriate legal actions.

The binance suspension of this wallet employee echoes the 2023 coinbase scandal that involves former manager Isehan Wahi, who admitted to having filtered details of the tokens list with his brother and another contact.

Coinbase was finally involved in the case to dispute the securities and stock exchange commission that the Wahi tokens inside were values.
