Bindi Irwin gets emotional on first ‘big walk’ after health scare

Bindi Irwin celebrated an extraordinary day in her life, recovering from endometriosis.

The 26-year-old reality TV star took to her Instagram account on Wednesday to mark her first “big walk” since her current condition.

In the post, Irwin expressed his gratitude for having the opportunity to enjoy the nature walk.

The wildlife conservationist, who calls her husband her best friend, wrote in her post: “Spent a day hiking over 10 miles, across 3 mountains with my best friend.”

She became emotional as she shared her experience, saying: “My first big walk in YEARS since endometriosis took so much out of me. I cried quite a few happy tears. Endless gratitude in my heart. @chandlerpowell – I will remember this day forever.”

Irwin shared a series of photos from his hike in this picturesque location.

Irwin has openly spoken about her struggle with endometriosis and has undergone surgery to remove a cyst on her ovary.

According to the Mayo Clinic, endometriosis is “an often painful condition in which tissue similar to the inner lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus.”
