Foundry, the world’s largest Bitcoin mining group by Hashrate, has announced that it is diversifying its operations and reinforcing the network of the safety layer 2 network through the merger mining.

Fussed mining allows miners simultaneously to extract two or more cryptocurrencies that use the same hashing algorithm without compromising the general efficiency of mining.

The movement injects 740 exahashes per second, approximately 80% of the total computer power currently ensures the Bitcoin Network, to ensure the transactions of rootstocks.

For Foundry, this represents a new income opportunity, since Bitcoin Mining Pools that choose mine earn 79% of ROTCC transaction rates paid in RBTC, while taking advantage of their existing mining infrastructure of Bitcoin.

By merging mining, Foundry improves the safety of additional energy costs, contributing to a more robust and innovative bitcoin ecosystem. Rootstock is a Bitcoin layer 2 network that takes advantage of the network safety while bringing intelligent contract and compatibility of the Ethereum virtual machine.
