Microstrategy (MSTR) has changed its name to the strategy in a movement to simplify its brand and reflect the company’s approach, he announced Wednesday.
The new strategy logo includes the famous Bitcoin “B”, which indicates the company’s Bitcoin Treasury strategy, and the new primary color of the name is Orange.
“This simplification of the brand is a natural evolution of the company, which reflects its approach and its wide appeal,” said a press release.
Microstrategy, founded by the now Executive President Michael Saylor, was mainly a software and infrastructure company since its debut in 1989. However, in the last five years, it has gradually changed to focus mainly on the accumulation of Bitcoin, with its business of Operational software only a small fraction of the company’s valuation.
Last year, the company began to call itself a Bitcoin strategy company.
The strategy announces the results of the fourth quarter after the closing of Wednesday, and analysts expect the company to report a net loss as the highest brand continues to maintain in its Bitcoin holdings.
