Directed by President Nayib Bukele, El Salvador apparently has no intention of stopping his accumulation of Bitcoin (BTC) regardless of what the IMF demands.

Bukele’s social media publication occurred shortly after the International Monetary Fund (IMF) published more details on its $ 3.5 billion agreement with the Latin American nation. Perhaps in response to the IMF publication, or maybe not, El Salvador revealed the purchase of 19 Bitcoin in the last seven days and then on Tuesday afternoon he revealed the purchase of an additional token in addition to that.
The IMF News drew a Bitcoiners howls online, even Samson Mow, which has at least been close to President Bukele.
“No more #bitcoin buys for El Salvador,” Mow said on Tuesday. “Purchases will stop in a few months,” he said later after the country made an additional purchase.
The Salvadoran government currently has 6,101.15 Bitcoin, with a value of approximately $ 530 million at the current Bitcoin price of around $ 88,000.
