The leader of the India of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, has renewed his accusations against the ruling party Bharatiya Janata (BJP) and the Electoral Commission of India (ECI), claiming that they conspired the manipulation elections and describe the alleged manipulation of votes as an act of “betrayal”. They reported the news.

In a shared video message in X (previously Twitter) on Friday, the Congress leader reiterated his electoral fraud claims, citing additional states where there were irregularities that had occurred.

“The theft of votes is not just an electoral scam; it is an important betrayal committed against the Constitution and democracy. That the nation’s culprits listen to this: times will change, the punishment will surely be forecast,” said Gandhi.

The statement follows the comments made by Gandhi during an opposition meeting of the Indian Alliance on Thursday night, where he claimed that a “huge criminal fraud” had occurred during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

He cited a survey in Karnataka that, according to him, revealed six key irregularities: multiple entries for the same voter, records duplicated in all states, false directions, groups of bulk voters in individual residences, unclear photographs on voter identifications and undue use of form 6, which is used to register voters for the first time.

Gandhi also accused the electoral body of preparing a “choreographer schedule” for the elections of the State Assembly in collusion with the BJP and said that the ECI refused to share digital versions of voters’ rolls.

The Electoral Commission responded strongly to Gandhi’s accusations, calling them an “absurd analysis” and urging the Congress leader to support their claims with a formal statement under oath.

“If Rahul Gandhi believes in his analysis and believes that his accusations against the Electoral Commission of India are true, he should not have any problem in signing the statement. If he does not sign the state ECOS emissions.
