Blake Lively’s court case with co-star Justin Baldoni took another surprising turn after new tabloids revealed a private moment between them.
The documents said Baldoni visited Lively’s New York home in December 2022, when she was expecting a baby.
During a casual chat about her pregnancy, the conversation allegedly turned to whether her unborn son would be circumcised.
At that time, the director and actor told the actress that he was circumcised.
However, newspapers said this comment was made in a room where several people were present, including the nannies and assistants of Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds.
This new detail became part of the A Simple Favor actress’ push to take the case to trial.
She stated that the act made her feel uncomfortable during the performance of Finish with us and he said this moment showed how the atmosphere around the project seemed wrong to him.
His lawyers argued that the comment added to a pattern they believed crossed personal boundaries.
Baldoni denied her claims, as her legal team said the conversation was harmless and argued that Lively was trying to use ordinary moments to support a false story.
They even asked the court to dismiss the case, saying there was no evidence of the behavior she described.
Additionally, the judge set the trial date for March 9, 2026 and this meant that both sides would have more time to prepare for a long legal fight.
