Police declared that three people died and another seven were injured in the explosion. The bodies and injured have been transferred to the Nall hospital to receive treatment.

The authorities are currently working to determine the nature of the explosion.

The explosion occurred one day after the security forces successfully frustrated an attack by Fitna al-Khawarij in the Bannu closure, killing the 16 terrorists involved. In the clash, five soldiers hugged martyrdom, while 13 innocent civilians lost their lives and another 32 were injured.

ISPR reported that five brave soldiers reached martyrdom in the confrontation, and the terrorists, in their despair, rammed two vehicles loaded with explosives on the cliff walls. Suicide bombings caused a part of the acantonation wall.

ISPR also asked the Afghan interim government to prevent its territory from being used for attacks against Pakistan, stating that Pakistan reserves the right to take the necessary measures against threats that originate at its borders.
