- Blink has released a new version of its video timbre with budget price
- Run for up to two years without replacing or recharging their batteries
- It is available for pre-pedd from Amazon for delivery in August
Blink manufactures some of the best video bell and home security cameras that we have tried here in Techradar, and has now launched a new version of its economic timbre that can work for up to two years without needing to recharge or replace the batteries.
The new Blink video bell extends from three AA Lithium batteries, in addition to the core of the Blink synchronization module, which also acts as a central center that connects its flashing devices with each other and with the Wi-Fi network of its home.
The new bell also has an improved field of vision of 150 degrees (updated from 135 horizontal degrees and 80 vertical degrees), 1: 1 video appearance ratio and HD infrared night vision.
Like the previous model (which we review in March), the new bell also offers detection of people if it has a blink subscription, and can be configured only to send notifications to your phone if a person is identified (and not an animal or object).
The new Blink video bell is now available to pre-order from Amazon for £ 59.99 (around $ 80 / Au $ 120) for delivery in August. International prices and launch dates have not yet been confirmed.
Flash cameras
The new Blink videos is next to the Outdoor 4 and Blink Mini 2 flicker, which have won a place in our summary of the best home security cameras thanks to their impressive battery lives and their affordable prices.
If you want advanced functions such as people detection, cloud storage and photo capture, flickering subscription plans begin at $ 3 / £ 2.50 / AU $ 4.95 per month for a device, or $ 10 / £ 8 / au $ 15 per month for unlimited devices.
