“These people have done nothing to justify the negativity for my actions, whether it’s my parents, my siblings, my girlfriend, my family… it’s really sad.”

Yesavage went on to say that while fans have the right to their opinion, family and friends should not be the target.

“I know I have the platform to address it, and I am. I hope people can realize that those individuals have nothing to do with what’s happening on the field. If you have a problem, I’m a man. I can take any opinion anyone has about me or my life. So I just wanted to get that out there.”

“I’m not going to go into details, but there’s a line and I think they crossed it a little bit,” Schlittler said of Red Sox fans. “I’m a competitor and I’m going to go out and make sure I shut them down.”

“You know Boston fans, that’s how it is. We’re aggressive at home and we’re going to try to upset people. They just picked the wrong guy to do it and the wrong team to do it,” he added.
