QUETTA:

Without flinthy

Meanwhile, the first round of negotiations between a government team and the BNP leadership led by Sardar Akhtar Mengal ended without any advance.

On Saturday, some provincial ministers met mengal and tried to convince him to finish the protest and reopen the road. However, Mengal insisted that the protest would continue until the release of Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Samdin Baloch and the missing persons.

A JUI-F delegation led by its provincial boss Maulana Abdul Wasay also visited the BNP protest camp and expressed its entire BNP-M. JUI-F MPA MIR Zafarullah Zehri and Senator Kamran Murtaza were also part of the delegation.

Strict security measures were established to avoid adverse incidents during the manifestation.

On Saturday, an alleged suicide attack was held near the site of La Senada in the Lak Pass.

The BNP-M Chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal, and other high-level leaders of the party were present in the protest field when the alleged attacker detonated his suicide vest. Fortunately, all people remained unharmed.

After the incident, security was reinforced in and around the long BNP-M march.

The authorities implemented measures to guarantee security in the area, with the aim of avoiding other threats, authorities said. Prime Minister Sarfaraz Bugti firmly condemned what he referred to as an “alleged suicide bombing.”

In a publication on the social media platform X, he said the government would investigate the incident thoroughly. He also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to provide security for leadership and BNP-M participants.

Mengal’s party had launched a long march from Wadh to Quetta against the arrest of the leaders of the Balochjehti (Byc) committee, including Dr. Mahrang Baloch and Sami Deen Muhammad.

According to the sources, the Baluchistan government had been in contact with the BNP-M leadership since the previous night and a BNP-M delegation had already met with the local administration.
