The last seconds of the Arizona State-Arizona game on Saturday took a bit to finish due to a drama on the court and banks.
With approximately 30 seconds in the game and the Wildcats rose 81-72, Caleb Love de Arizona became entangled with BJ Freeman. The Sun Devil then hit his head.
Love and Freeman were expelled, but as the dust continued to settle between both teams, Asu coach of Asu, Bobby Hurley, ordered that all players in their bank go to the costumes.

While the Wildcats dripped the last seconds, Hurley ordered their assistant coaches to leave the bank, leaving it alone in the bank and five sun demons on the court.

Seconds before the habitual handshake line, Hurley then exhausted Arizona’s coach, Tommy Lloyd, and both squadrons entered their respective lockers.

Hurley then finished his press conference with a farewell photo, maybe in Love.
“I receive a vote for the lifelong conference, and I can tell you who is not voting,” he said.
Lloyd described the “disappointing on all sides.”
“We want to be a program that when difficult things happen, we want to respond with class. I don’t know if we did or not, but only a difficult time in an emotional game. I received a lot of respect for the Bobby and the state of Arizona,” Lloyd said.
The Wildcats improved 15-6 in the season and 9-1 in the Big 12 game, while the Sun Devils are 12-9 in general and 3-7 against opponents of the conference.

The teams will meet in a rematch on March 4.
