BOENSE STUTTGart presents Seurion

Borse Stuttgart Group presented Seurion, a digital settlement platform designed to optimize subsequent processes for tokenized assets throughout Europe.

Blockchain -based infrastructure aims to eliminate cross -border frictions, unify fragmented liquidation systems and reduce costs by up to 90%, the exchange said Thursday.

The platform, which is open to banks, corridors, traditional and digital places of commerce and tokenization platforms, is already in use in BX Digital, the DLT trade installation regulated by Finma de Switzerland. It was tested in the blockchain tests of the European Central Bank with the main European banks in 2024.

“Sheturion is the first digital paneurpeo settlement platform for tokenized assets,” said the CEO of Borse Stuttgart, Matthias Voelkel, in the statement. “With a truly open architecture, we want to overcome current national settlement infrastructure silos and make a unified European capital market reality.”

Borse Stuttgart said that the open architecture of the platform allows simple integration, which supports public and private blocks chains, and enables liquidation in the money of the Central Bank, as well as cash in the chain. It allows institutions to offer tokenized assets trade without requiring their own DLT license, while continuing to use existing connections to market infrastructure.

The company’s own negotiation places will serve as “zero client”, and more participants are expected to join soon.

Waiting for supervision approval, the Heturion Leadership team will be headed by Lidia Kurt as CEO, Sven Wilke as CEO Deputy and Growth Director, Dirk Kruwinnus as Director of Products and Samuel Bisig as director of Technology. Lucas Bruggeman, the director of Digital Assets of Borse Stuttgart, has been appointed president of the Board.

A license application has been submitted to the financial regulator of Germany Bafin under the EU DLT pilot regime.
