ISLAMABAD:
The sessions of the Senate and the National Assembly will take place today (Thursday) at 4 and 5 p.m., respectively.
The Senate’s seven-point agenda has also been published. Senator Ali Zafar will present the report of the Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting on the safety of journalists, an issue raised earlier by late Senator Irfan Siddiqui.
Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain will present the National Agriculture Trade and Food Safety Authority Bill.
Warnings will also be discussed, including one from Senator Jan Muhammad on the blocking of MPs’ accounts by commercial banks, and another from Senator Talha Mahmood on the deteriorating road conditions in Chitral.
