- We have many more leaked images of the DJI Neo 2
- Details regarding pricing and availability have also been rumored.
- The drone could make its debut in China today
We’re more than ready to see the successor to the DJI Neo that launched in September 2024, and with the DJI Neo 2 now seemingly imminent, a slew of leaked images of the drone and its packaging have appeared online.
These images come from reliable tipster Igor Bogdanov, who has posted photos of the DJI Neo 2 from various angles, from above and below, and with its kits included. There’s a good chance that this is what the drone will end up looking like.
In fact, there have been a slew of DJI Neo 2 leaks over the past two days. The drone is rumored to weigh 135 grams, like the current model, but improvements in durability and flight time are expected.
From these and other image leaks, we can see that the design has also been refined. There’s a two-axis gimbal on the front for added stability, which we can also see on the retail packaging leaked by @OsitaLV.

According to those in the know, including the team at New Camera, the DJI Neo 2 will be unveiled in China sometime today, Thursday, October 30, and will launch in Europe on Thursday, November 13.
As for the United States, it seems that the launch in that market is still up in the air. There is still the distinct possibility of a ban on DJI products in the US, which could come into effect in the near future. Understandably, this has put future releases in doubt.
According to tipster @billbil_kun and Dealabs, the starting price of the DJI Neo 2 (with the so-called Solo Bundle) will be £209 in the UK, €239 in Europe, and $259 in the US, if it ever arrives there. So far we have no rumors of availability or pricing for Australia.
That’s something of an increase over the price of the DJI Neo, which launched at $199 / £169 / €199 / AU$299, although it’s unclear if the bundles match exactly. Later today, and over the next few weeks, this should all become official.
