Sharing the reason behind this positive development, a source close to the songbird’s mother and her told the publication that the 69-year-old has done things “differently in the past year.”
Lynne had reportedly taken “a more hands-off approach” in recent months and did not meddle in the songbird’s affairs.
Although he “wanted to call Britney and fly to her rescue,” he ultimately “waited for her to call” and this change of plan “worked out well” for the duo.
“Now Britney feels like her mom respects her and doesn’t force her to do things she appreciates,” the source continued.
