Phil Mickelson says that “there is a need and demand” of Liv Golf in the midst of ongoing negotiations with PGA Tour
Trump organized two meetings at the White House this year with PGA Tour Jay Monahan Commissioner and Yasir Al-Rumayyan, the governor of the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, to help negotiate an agreement between LIV and the tour.
The PGA Tour, PIF and DP World Tour signed a framework agreement in June 2023 in the hope of repairing the crack, but the parties involved did not reach any agreement before this agreement expired at the end of the year. Trump is now working to facilitate negotiations with the two circuits in the new commercial companies of PGA Tour.
“Personally for me, there has been nothing more than positivity of this league,” Dechambeau said on Liv. “What we have been able to do throughout the world is quite inspiring for the youngest generation of golf.”
