The Karachi Secondary Education Board (BSEK) has announced the dates for the next ninth and tenth grade exams.

According to an official statement, the exams will begin on April 8.

The Education Board has revealed that 375,000 students will appear for exams. To accommodate them, 499 exam centers have been established throughout the city. The list of these centers has already been made available to the official BSEK website.

Bsek president said all students had received a computerized admission card for exams. The statement also stressed that strict measures will be made in the exam centers, with a complete prohibition of mobile phones and other electronic devices within the facilities.

Any device in students will be confiscated by exam staff.

However, the date of practical exams will be announced later.

It should be noted that the matrix exam program was reviewed from an earlier date in March. The Sindh government updated the schedule in view of the Sacred Month of Ramadan, which fell during the month.

Meanwhile, the new academic session would begin in the province as of today (April 7), according to the official announcement. The authorities declared that the new academic year for universities will begin on August 1, 2025.

The winter and summer vacation schedules will remain according to the previous schedule. Summer holidays are scheduled from June 1 to July 31, while winter holidays will be observed from December 22 to 31.
