BTC falls below the 2025 price level, increasing the risk of greater inconvenience: van Straten

The average withdrawal price of Bitcoin (BTC) of exchanges in 2025 is currently $ 100,356. At present, Bitcoin is quoted just below this level, around $ 98,000.

The concern arises when Bitcoin falls below the average withdrawal price for a sustained period of time, since this can often trigger the continuous sale and more down pressure. Historically, this metric has served as a strong level of support for Bitcoin.

However, bursting this support does not necessarily indicate a bearish market or a sustained decrease, since Bitcoin historically claims this price level rapidly.

In 2024, for example, Bitcoin repeatedly tested its average withdrawal price of $ 60,000. The price was briefly submerged below this level several times, especially in August during the transport trade, it relaxed when it fell to $ 49,000. However, the price managed to recover the support level in a few days.

Similarly, in 2023, the price made provided key support on multiple occasions, even during the collapse of the Bank of Silicon Valley in March ($ 20,000) and again in September, just before the Bitcoin Q4 rally.

According to Glassnode data, more than 2.6 million BTC are in a loss, one of the highest amounts this year. The longer it maintains a price below the average of 2025, the greater the chances of being in order.
