More recently, the band member, Suga, also known as August-D, has been discharged from his mandatory military service.
The famous management agency, Big Hit Music, confirmed that the Korean rapper has completed his alternative service duties on Wednesday after using his remaining license.
“Special events are not planned on Suga High Day.
The notice also mentioned: “We are always grateful for their unwavering love and support for Suga. Our company will continue to put our greatest effort to support our artists.”
While six of the other members of the BTS, which are Kim Seokjin, Jung Hoseoak, Kim Namjoon, Park Jimin, Kin Taehyun and Jeon Jungkook served at the military service of South Korea, Suga, whose real name is Min Yoongi, worked as a social service agent, an alternative to military service.
According to reports, BTS Suga chose to take this option instead of mandatory military service due to a shoulder injury before its enlistment.
