The royal family said on Saturday that King Charles and the Duchess of Edinburgh attended the Royal Windsor Flower Show.
A statement issued in the family’s Instagram account said: “The King, as a patron, and Edinburgh Duchess were at the Royal Windsor Flower Show this morning.”
He said: “The topic of this year’s show, held at Windsor Great Park, is ‘patterns of nature’ inspired by the book of His Majesty ‘Harmony: a new way of seeing our world'”.
The statement said: “The Duchess joined the gardener Alan Titchmarsh, who is the honorary president of the Royal Windsor Rose & Horticultural Society, to officially open the program.”
The local media reported that Duchess Sophie, Prince Edward’s wife, stood up for the monarch and opened the show, before King Charles arrived.
Duchess Sophie and King Charles appeared together in the event just one day after the monarch’s sister -in -law joined Prince William for an appearance at the Royal Cornwall Show 2025.
The royal family said “the Duke of Cornwall (William), as a patron of the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association, and the Duchess of Edinburgh (Sophie), as the patron of the Association of the Agricultural Association attended the Royal Cornwall Show in Wadebridge.”
He said: “The program celebrates and highlights the best in the heritage of Cornualles and tradition through agriculture, food and drink, entertainment and competition.”
