Build a rocket boy has been beaten with dismissals following MindsetThe disastrous launch.
The single player’s futuristic narrative game was launched earlier this month for PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC, to an overwhelmingly poor reception.
Of performance problems, errors and innumerable other technical problems, Mindseye’s The Steam page is now in a ‘mostly negative’ qualification with more than 1840 user reviews, with Build to Rocket Boy promising solutions.
Now, two weeks after the launch, the sources tell IGN that the study has begun the redundancy process amid the bad launch of the game, and the layoffs are expected to affect more than 100 employees.
An anonymous source told the publication that it is not known how many people will be affected, but that the standard consultation process of 45 days began on June 23, which is triggered when an employer proposes 100 or more dismissals within 90 days in the United Kingdom.
It is understood that Build to Rocket Boy has approximately 300 employees of the United Kingdom who currently work in the study and around 200 abroad.
“We can confirm that we have had to make the painful decision to notify our working team of some internal changes in Build to Rocket Boy,” the study has now confirmed in a statement to IGN.
“While we are working to reallocate roles for as many of those that affect these changes as possible, unfortunately we are initiating a formal consultation process that can result in dismissals. This decision has not been taken lightly, and we are committed to handling this process with transparency, justice and respect for all employees. We will provide more details to the team during the coming weeks.”
“The launch of Mindset It has been a significant milestone for Build to Rocket Boy, but we know that we still have much more to do to grow our community in the coming years. The challenges we have faced have only strengthened our resolution and, although we are deeply saddened by today’s decision and grateful to our incredible team, this change allows us to focus on offering continuous updates and performance optimization for Mindsetwhile guaranteeing the long -term success of Build from Build’s future ambitions to Rocket Boy. “
The study has previously confirmed that it has subsequent plans “already in motion” for the game and that players can expect more updates and refinements “being shortly after the launch.”
He also said he had plans to support the game for years, but he has not yet revealed his road map.
