Bybit, the world’s second largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, proudly participated in MENA, which was held from December 9 to 10, 2024 at the ADNEC Center in Abu Dhabi.
Setting the stage for the conference, Bybit hosted its exclusive Horizon Night on December 8, seamlessly transitioning guests from the excitement of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to the anticipation of Bitcoin MENA.
On December 10, Bybit co-founder and CEO Ben Zhou joined an insightful session on BTC accessibility in the UAE. Titled “Improving Bitcoin Access in the UAE,” the panel was moderated by former Kraken MENA member Austin Alexander and joined by HTX’s Charmaine Lim.
Zhou, a seasoned leader in the global crypto space, discussed the critical role of transparent, secure and compliant platforms in improving access to bitcoin, a topic of growing importance as the UAE cements its role as a regional hub for cryptocurrency innovation. .
During the panel, Zhou highlighted Bybit’s continued commitment to building secure, user-friendly platforms that align with regional regulatory standards.
