Jakovac recalled his thought process at the time after hitting the ball.
“I had to ride the wind to get there,” he told Golfweek. “Just when he left, I thought, ‘That is a perfect line if the right distance lands.’

Jakovac participated in the annual Caddy contest. During the last quarter of the century, the event was held on Wednesday before the players championship, giving Caddies the opportunity to take a chance in the famous hole.
The Florida-Times union reported that Jakovac became the first caddie in the history of the contest to make a hole in one.

Min Woo Lee, Isaiah Salinda and Jason Day and his Caddies celebrated after Jakovac’s AS. Jakovac obtained honors from the national player of the year twice when he golfed in the state of Chico.

Morikawa also talked about the unique moment.
“Any hole in one is special,” he said. “A hole in one in 17 against each other caddie …”
With his hole in one, Jakovac took home a pot of unleashed money and a $ 10,000 sponsor prize and access to the VIP parking lot for the rest of the tournament was awarded.
