The competitive fire of Caitlin Clark was clearly far from extinguishing, since it remained marginalized with an injury to the groin without a real schedule for its return to the court.

Bonner was walking back to his bank, noting that he wanted a repetition in a previous call. Clark, with black sweats, left the bank and seemed to tell Bonner to return to the bank. The two apparently began to scare each other while the players curled up. Bonner had to be escorted back to his side by his teammates.
Bonner had 19 points and four rebounds in 25 minutes from the bank when Phoenix improved 26-14 in the season. Indiana fell to 21-20.

The WNBA veteran has some history with Clark. She played for the Connecticut Sun last season and in her confrontation of playoffs, Bonner and Clark exchanged words and needed to separate.
Bonner joined the fever in the low season, but was only with the team for nine games before requesting his release. He later joined Phoenix, where he spent the first 10 seasons of his career. An adjustment problem was the only reason why the team left.
Indiana is still playing for a place in the playoffs with three remaining games. The team is in the eighth place in the WNBA classification. The Fever plays the sky of Chicago, followed by Washington Mystics and Minnesota Lynx.
