Clark became the face of female basketball in Iowa with his record university career. She left Iowa as the top scorer of all NCAA times for men and women, and although it fell short in two national title games, her brand in sport was well planted.

Clark returned to Iowa earlier this month to see his famous No. 22 retired by the program. His last game at home with the Hawkeyes was on March 3, 2024, a 93-83 victory over Ohio State, which had been classified second in the country. (Iowa was fourth).

Last year, Clark turned his illustrious career in Iowa to become the number 1 team in the WNBA Draft for fever. After a beginning of 3-10, she and the fever changed things, and Indiana was able to reach the playoffs.

Angel Reese shouts the coach after a foul, then tells critics to “stay on that side”

Clark’s Fever sold 90 times more tickets in Stubhub this year than in 2023; The team with the second highest increase was Angel Reese’s sky in Chicago, and fever sales were almost double (93% more).

Several WNBA playoffs without Clark still had less spectators than Clark’s regular seasonal games, and Clark-Ree’s battles had an audience that had not been seen in more than two decades.

Clark was appointed the rookie of the year for his historical campaign, during which he established the record of most assists in a season in the history of the League. He even established a single game record with 19 assists and also became the first rookie to register a triple double, registering two of them.

Clark received the most votes for the game of the stars and was only the fifth rookie in the history of the League to make the first All-Wnba team.

The Brazilian team will also go to LSU to face Reese and heaven. The team presents the teammate of the WNBA of Reese, Kamilla Cardoso, who with South Carolina defeated Clark and Iowa in the National Championship of 2024 to complete an undefeated season.
