Caitlin Clark had an excellent Sunday afternoon.
The female basketball program at Iowa University immortalized Clark’s career forever, since he officially removed his 22 shirt and hung it in the Carver-Hawkeye Arena beams. Clark stopped with his family when the number rose to the top of the facilities.

Clark then could see Stun No. 4 of the Hawkeyes USC for one of the greatest victories of his season. Lucy Olsen scored 28 points and Addison O’Gray had 13 in victory 76-69. Iowa opened the game in a race of 17-1, but was down in the mid-time before straightening the ship and getting the victory.
Olsen and O’Gray had 23 of the 25 points of the fourth quarter of Iowa.
Juju Watkins, who is scheduled to be the next female basketball star, led the team with 27 points, five rebounds and three assists. He had 8 of the field and played 40 minutes.
But it was not enough for the Trojans to contain Iowa.
Clark, who became the leader of all the basketball time of the university while taking Iowa to appearances in the consecutive national championship, spoke about his Jersey retirement before the game.

“I feel that I already have those butterflies in my stomach when you enter here,” Clark said during a press conference prior to the game. “Not so much for a basketball game now, but obviously just to be close to everyone and enjoy this environment. I don’t have to go and compete for 40 minutes, although I would like power. A little more emotional that I don’t have to compete.”
A multitude sold of 14,998 attended the game. The former Iowa coach Lisa Bluder, and former teammates Kate Martin and Gabbie Marshall were present. The Indiana Faver Stephanie White coach and comedian David Letterman were also in the game.
Clark reflected on Iowa winner while she was at the press conference.
“The profit occurred due to the great culture we had,” he said. “And for me, I hope it is always intact, and I know it will, due to the great coaching staff we have and the type of players who are here.

“We had players who were selfless. We had players who didn’t care how many points you were going to score. They will do what they could for your teammates. They were going to hold their teammates hold their teammates. And I think that is an art lost in the University these days, and you don’t always see that. “
