Caitlin Clark received a two -week timeline with his quadruple lesion, and there will be no early return.
In a highly anticipated confrontation between Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky, Clark will miss a fourth consecutive game.
“I will miss the game this weekend, but after that, it is day by day and I will see how I feel, and only resort to medical staff and what they think,” Clark told journalists on Thursday, through ESPN. I feel that I have progressed a lot and I feel good, and I will not return to again. It just is not worth it. The first confrontation between Indiana and Chicago had some fireworks, since Clark hit Angel Reese with a flagrant fault. Reese made an exception and had to separate as he looked out Clark.
And although Clark surely wants to be on the floor for this, the injury is too complicated to risk anything more.
“It’s the type of injury, you don’t know, when I wake up, I will feel different from the day before,” Clark said.
He added that he could return Tuesday against Atlanta’s dream: his next opponent would be the reigning champion of New York Liberty, whom Clark was injured on Saturday.

Clark admitted that being injured is “proof [her patience] A little, “but she is trying to use the injury for her advantage learning apart, something that coach in chief Stephanie White wanted her to do.
“He has taught me a lot,” Clark said. “I had never been in that position to see from the bank for a prolonged period of time … it is the same as you turn on television and look at the NBA or look at other WNBA games, that is the best way to learn basketball, it is just to look at it and absorb it, and it is the same when I am not active too.”

In his four games this season, Clark averages 19.0 points, 9.3 assists and 6.0 rebounds. She already has a double double and double triple in the season.
